Rainbow Airschool.com is is CAA and RAASA Accredited, and specialises in Light Sports Fixed Wing and Microlight Training. The flying school is based at the Vereeniging Airfield in Midvaal, the Circus Airfield near Johannesburg, the Ladysmith Airfield near the Drakensberg in KwaZulu-Natal.

Microlight licenc Requirements:
- Must be older than 16 years (17years to go Solo).
- 25 Hours (minimum) Total Flying, of which 15 hours must be Solo.
- Class 4 Medical.
- Have a good command of the English Language.
- Restricted Radio Licence.
- Flight and Navigation Test.
- 6 Theory Exams (Air Law / Principles of Flight / Engines and Airframes / Meteorology / Human Performance Limitations / Navigation).

Wings over Africa Flying School is based at Delta 200 Airfield which is situated in beautiful surroundings, off the R27 West Coast road. The owner is a Grade A Microlight instructor, and the aircraft available are Windlass Trikes with open cockpit and tandem seater, adapted for training purposes, and it is used for Microlight weight-shift training and also for sightseeing flights.
MPL (Microlight Pilot License) & NPL (National Pilot License):
- Flying Instruction – Instructor & School aircraft, and all pre- and post flight briefings.
- CAA Required Hours of Flying Instruction – 25 Hours for MPL weight to shift and 35 hours for NPL, 10 Hours Dual (depending on student performance) and 15 Hours Solo, under supervision. Dual and solo cross-country to be done.
- Aircraft options – Jabiru JSP, Weightshift Trike.
- Practical Flight Test is done by a different Instructor.
- Fuel & Oil included.
