Microlight Licence Requirements:

  • Older than 16 years (must be 17 years to go Solo).
  • Class 4 Medical.
  • Flight and Navigation Test.
  • A good command of the English Language.
  • Restricted Radio Licence.
  • 25 Hours (minimum) Total Flying, of which 15 hours must be Solo.
  • 6 Theory Exams – Human Performance Limitations / Principles of Flight / Air Law / Engines and Airframes / Navigation / Meteorology.
