The Pyramid Flight School is located near Barberton in Mpumalanga, and offers modern microlight training facilities and techniques, as well as comprehensive tuition by experienced flight instructors.

Training for a Microlight Pilots License (MPL) remains the most cost effective form of powered aviation available, and students may take a part time course which is about 3 times per week for 3 months, or a
full time course which is, weather permitting, 15 Days for Trikes and  18 Days for 3 Axis.

Aero Trike Training:

  • Aviation Medical.
  • Student & Microlight Pilots License.
  • Theory Lectures about 24 Hours.
  • Student Pack.
  • Theory exams 5 papers of 1 hour each.
  • Aviation Radio License (Exam included)
  • Flight Training: Dual Instruction 10 hours.
  • Flight Training: Solo Instruction 15 hours.
  • Aero Club & MISASA membership (optional)
