Blue Chip Aviation was established as a flying school in 1996, and is committed to deliver a high standard of training with a team of highly experienced and enthusiastic full time instructors. Te flying school is based at the Wonderboom Airport, north of Pretoria, Gauteng.

Flight School Courses:

  • Private Pilots Licence – for pleasure or making a career of it.
  • Night Rating – allows you to act as pilot in command of an aircraft after official sunset until sunrise.
  • Instrument Rating – for bad weather conditions.
  • Ground School – subjects for a commercial pilot licence.
  • Multi Engine Rating – if you wish to act as pilot in command of an aircraft which has more than one power-plant.
  • CPL Single Engine & CPL Multi Engine – need a PPL, Night Rating, Commercial Ground School and Exams, Hour Building, Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine rating (optional) and Commercial Pilot’s rating.
  • Instructors Rating – consists of two basic elements, namely theory and examinations & practical flying.
