Base 4 Flight Acadamy offers helicopter flight training accredited by the CAA, which is undertaken from the General Aviation Area at Cape Town International Airport, with a diverse range of aircraft that include Robinson R22, Robinson R44 Raven II, Schweizer 300 cbi and a
Bell 206 Jet Ranger.
PPL(H) Training requirements:
- Minimum age of 17 years
- Class II medical from a CAA accredited aviation doctor
- Minimum of 50 flying hours of which 15 hours must be solo
