Aptrac Aviation is a coastal training centre that offers a comprehensive range of courses which include the Private Pilot Licence and the Commercial Pilot Licence.
The CAA CPL written examinations (including Instrument Rating), cover Navigation and plotting, Meteorology, Flight planning and performance, Radio aids and communication, Air law and operating procedures, Instruments and electronics, Human Performance, Aircraft technical and general.
CPL Courses:
- Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) – advanced course; flying some longer cross-country flights; attend CPL ground school lectures and write CAA exams.
- Instrument Rating – Instrument Rating is normally combined with CPL.
- Instructors Rating – once you have passed all examinations for the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).
- Night Rating – done as part of the CPL course.
- Airline Transport Pilot – advanced (ATPL).
- Type Ratings – can do this training on Cessna 152, Piper Cherokee (PA28-140), Piper Arrow (PA28R), Beechcraft Duchess (BE76).
