Flight Training College was established in 1999 and is based at the George Airport in the Western Cape. The College is equipped to international standards, and specialises in professional training from the basic PPL, and advanced CPL and ATPL.

Facilities and Equipment:

  • Large hanger and an adjacent administration / student centre.
  • Experienced Instructors – Grade I flying instructors and Class 2 rated Test Pilots.
  • Ground School Lecturers – extensive experience in civil and military aviation.
  • Aircraft Servicing – own maintenance facility (Garden Route Air Maintenance).
  • Flight Simulator – Piper Seneca III simulator, CAA certified FNPTII trainer approved for Instrument Rating Renewals as well as Multi Engine, Multi Crew, Night Rating and Instructor Training.
  • Training Aircraft – Cessna 150/152/172; Jabiru SP 120 (2 seater); Cessna 172 RG Cutlass; Cubby; Piper Aztec; Piper Twin Comanche; Falke
  • SF 25 Motor Glider.
  • Accommodation – various lodgings in and around town for all budgets.
