Microlight Training | Wings over Africa | Western Cape
Wings over Africa Flying School is based at Delta 200 Airfield which is situated in beautiful surroundings, off the R27 West Coast road. The owner is a Grade A Microlight instructor, and the aircraft available are Windlass Trikes with open cockpit and tandem seater, adapted for training purposes, and it is used for Microlight weight-shift training and also for sightseeing flights.
MPL (Microlight Pilot License) & NPL (National Pilot License):
- Flying Instruction – Instructor & School aircraft, and all pre- and post flight briefings.
- CAA Required Hours of Flying Instruction – 25 Hours for MPL weight to shift and 35 hours for NPL, 10 Hours Dual (depending on student performance) and 15 Hours Solo, under supervision. Dual and solo cross-country to be done.
- Aircraft options – Jabiru JSP, Weightshift Trike.
- Practical Flight Test is done by a different Instructor.
- Fuel & Oil included.
