Flight Training Services operates out of Grand Central Airport, Midrand, with Branches in Virginia, Durban North and Aerovaal, Vereeniging. Training courses at the flying school include computer based training, student, private, and airline transport pilot licences, as well as other ratings.

Training Courses:

• Computer Based Training – most thorough theoretical training available in South Africa, software from the UK (Oxford).
• Student Pilot – first formal qualification required.
• Private Pilot Licence – allows you to be Pilot in Command (PIC) of an aircraft and to carry passengers.
• Night Rating – night flying and fly in reduced visibility.
• Instrument Rating – capable of flying, navigating and landing in bad weather conditions.
• Commercial Pilot Licence – enter the commercial and airline world of aviation.
• Multi-Engine Rating – twin engine aircraft training.
• Instructors Rating – allows the commercially rated pilot to act as an instructor on endorsed aircraft.
• Airline Transport Pilot Licence.
