Light Flight School is located in Cato Ridge, KwaZulu-Natal, and has, since 1988, been offering full time professional training.

Light Flight School offers advanced microlight training to better your safety, ability and confidence as a microlight pilot. The instructor will teach you to handle your microlight weight shift or fixed wing aircraft in unnatural attitudes, land in small spaces, and  land a weight shift aircraft with it’s engine switched off.

Advanced Microlight Training:

• Navigation

• Precautionary Landings
• Low level flying
• Bad weather rapid decent
• Short field landings
• Forced Landings under simulated engine failure
• Thermal flying
• Formation flying
• Wing overs (within limitations)
• Mountain flying
• Radio procedures into controlled airspace (such as Pietermaritzburg).

Light Flight is an established Microlight school in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, and offers microlight and light sport plane flying services. The flying school training aircraft consists of  Aeroprakt A-22 Foxbat light sport aircrafts, an Aquilla 582E and an Aerotrike microlight.
