Pyramid Flight School is located along the R40, about 15km north of Barberton, in the Mpumalanga Province. The flying school offers the most modern techniques and facilities available in the country, and training in both trikes and 3 three-axis planes. The school is ideally situated for flights to nearby game farms, surrounding forests and valley areas. The flying school caters for breakfasts, braai’s and other activities, and provide electricity, and ladies and gents ablutions.

The Pyramid Flight School is located near Barberton in Mpumalanga, and offers modern microlight training facilities and techniques, as well as comprehensive tuition by experienced flight instructors.

Training for a Microlight Pilots License (MPL) remains the most cost effective form of powered aviation available, and students may take a part time course which is about 3 times per week for 3 months, or a
full time course which is, weather permitting, 15 Days for Trikes and  18 Days for 3 Axis.

Pyramid Flight School provides a comprehensive microlight tuition facility with modern training techniques and aids. The flying school is located about 15 km north of Barberton, on the R40 and offers trike and 3 three-axis plane flight training.

Candidates go for a demonstration flight with an experienced microlight pilot or instructor before signing up for lessons, to make sure about becoming a microlight pilot. Then an Air law exam must be written, and a student pilot license (SPL) applied for.

Microlight Courses:

• Full time courses for MPL and MPL Instructors – the school offers a full time course of 3 weeks to complete a MPL.
• 3 Day advanced flying course.
• Passenger awareness courses.
• 3-Axis aircraft or the usual Delta Wing trikes.
