Superior Pilot Services offers a variety of flight training courses, including Private Pilots Licence, Commercial Pilot Licence, and Airline Transport Pilots Licence. Courses are flexible to meet each student’s individual needs, and are divided into 3 categories – Basic Training, Advanced Training, and Ground School Training.
Ground School Courses:
- Radio Licence Certification – Restricted & General Radio Licence Certification.
- PPL Ground school classes – Airlaw, Principles of Flight, Human Performance and limitations, Meteorology, Engines and Airframes (Aircraft technical and general), Flight Planning and performance, Navigation General and Plotting.
- CPL Ground School Classes – before a PPL can obtain a CPL, he/she must pass 8 written examinations with a minimum of 75% per subject.
- Instructors Ground school – two Instructors exams required by the CAA.

Superior Pilot Services is a flight training school based at Grand Central Airport, Midrand. They supply a fleet of aircraft for Ab Initio training, Night Ratings, IF Ratings, Twin Conversions and Advanced Training.
