Base 4 Flight Acadamy specialises in Commercial Pilot Licence training at the Cape Town International Airport, Western Cape. The flying school is CAA accredited, and offers Introductory Flights for students to make a final decision about becoming a helicopter pilot.

CPL(H) Training requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18
  • Valid Private Pilots Licence (PPL)
  • Class I medical from a CAA accredited aviation doctor
  • 150 hours of hour building of which 100 hours must be solo.
  • General Radio Licence
  • Pass examination of 8 theoretical subjects.
